Tecnalia prueba una aplicación móvil que utiliza el bluetooth para compartir de forma anónima datos que permitan rastrear los contactos de personas que han dado positivo por COVID 19. Oscar Lage, responsable de ciberseguridad de Tecnalia, explica su funcionamiento.
Los revestimientos higiénicos que impiden la proliferación de bacterias son algo en lo que se trabaja desde hace tiempo en el centro de investigación Tekniker, que ahora pone su experiencia al servicio del desarrollo nuevas superficies antivirales capaces de inactivar el SARS COV 2. Javier Barriga es responsable de la Unidad de Tecnología y Física de Superficies.
Recientemente se han dado a conocer los trabajos de divulgación científica que este año han recibido los premios CAF-Elhuyar. Un galardón que tiene como objetivo reconocer los trabajos e iniciativas que hacen más accesible la ciencia y la tecnología para el público euskaldun. En la categoría de artículos de divulgación basados en la tesis doctoral de autor, se ha premiado el trabajo publicado en la revista Elhuyar y titulado “Polimero birziklatu aurreratuen garapena: plastiko-hondakinei bizi berri bat emanez”
(Desarrollo de los polímeros reciclados avanzados: dando una nueva vida a los residuos plásticos). Su autora es la doctora en química Leire Sangroniz Agudo, Investigadora del Instituto Polymat de la UPV/EHU que ha visto reconocido un artículo que de forma sencilla y divulgativa aborda uno de los graves problemas que tenemos en la actualidad: la gigantesca cantidad de residuos plásticos que genera nuestra sociedad.
